S‑NIBRT is Saudi Arabia's national institute for bioprocessing training — established with the National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT), Ireland, to turn Vision 2030's biomanufacturing ambition into a trained, certified, factory‑ready workforce.
S‑NIBRT is built as a lean, single-operator institute rather than a fragmented academic-industrial venture — so decisions move at the pace of industry, not committee.
Provides dedicated lab space, lecturing rooms, manpower and the KAIMRC Academy registration platform.
Owns and operates the institute end to end — training delivery, R&D activity, and full programme governance.
Supplies the training curriculum, instructor certification, quality audit and global bioprocess know-how.
Bioengineers, pharmacists, scientists and technicians, prepared for government and private-sector roles.
The model skips the multi-year university track in favour of immediate operational readiness — while still building a permanent, sovereign training capability.
Turning graduates and existing staff into factory-ready operators, fast.
3–6 month hands-on programmes for science and engineering graduates.
1–2 week modules for industry teams adopting new technologies — single-use bioreactors, advanced chromatography.
Specialised training for SFDA inspectors on live manufacturing setups, without disrupting commercial facilities.
A dedicated, non-commercial Bioprocess Pilot Plant, structured into three training zones.
Pilot-scale bioreactors for cell culture scaling, media prep and inoculation — vital for local antigen production.
Industrial-grade chromatography, ultrafiltration and viral clearance protocols for harvest purity.
Simulated cleanroom for gowning, aseptic technique, environmental monitoring and cGMP documentation.
Top technical experts are sent to NIBRT Ireland for months-long immersion, return as NIBRT-certified instructors, and take full control of the Riyadh facility — so world-class training is ultimately delivered entirely by local experts.
Delivered as bootcamps, short courses, academic programmes with partner universities, or fully customised for a client's production line.
Two office rooms, three specialised rooms configurable as prep, cold, dark or clean rooms, and open lab space for hands-on biotechnology training — plus dedicated lecturing rooms across KAIMRC's three floors.

Each of KAIMRC's three floors holds two meeting rooms (capacity 20); a 350-seat auditorium, KSAU-HS lecturing halls, and floor-level canteens are available as needed.
NIBRT Ireland's global professional services — facility design, equipment specification, business modelling and brand licensing — are delivered locally through S‑NIBRT.
S‑NIBRT is finalising its establishment ahead of the Riyadh Global Medical Biotechnology Summit — where the tri-party agreement between S‑NIBRT, KAIMRC Academy and NIBRT Ireland is set to be signed.
